  • A systematic review of 34 studies reported that acupuncture reduced migraine frequency, shortened attack duration, and lowered pain scores more than medication alone. PMC+1

  • Another study showed that the benefits of acupuncture for episodic migraine persisted for at least 3 months after treatment ended. Frontiers

While no treatment is perfect for everyone, the evidence suggests Chinese herbs and acupuncture can be extremely helpful tools in reducing migraine load—not just treating the pain when it hits but lowering how often it hits.
