1. Services Provided

We offer professional acupuncture and related Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) services, including but not limited to auricular acupuncture, cupping, herbal consultations, and lifestyle recommendations. All treatments are administered by licensed practitioners in the State of Texas.

2. Eligibility for Treatment

By scheduling and attending an appointment, you confirm that:

  • You are 18 years or older, or accompanied by a legal guardian.

  • You have disclosed all relevant health conditions.

  • You understand that acupuncture is a complementary therapy and not a substitute for medical treatment.

3. Appointments & Scheduling

Appointments are available by booking online, by phone, or in person. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early for your first session to complete necessary forms.

4. Cancellation & No-Show Policy

We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Late cancellations may be charged a $25 fee.

  • No-shows will be charged the full session fee.
    We reserve the right to deny future appointments to clients who repeatedly cancel late or fail to show.

5. Payment & Insurance

Payment is due at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and HSA/FSA cards. We do not bill insurance directly but can provide superbills upon request.

6. Privacy Policy

All client information is kept confidential in accordance with HIPAA regulations. We do not share your information with third parties without your written consent.

7. Risks and Liability Disclaimer

While acupuncture is generally safe, there may be occasional side effects such as bruising, dizziness, or soreness. By consenting to treatment, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

We are not liable for adverse effects resulting from misinformation provided by the client or non-compliance with aftercare instructions.

8. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse treatment to anyone who is disrespectful, under the influence of substances, or whose condition may pose a risk to themselves or others.

9. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

By booking and receiving services from Silk and Stone Acupuncture, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
